The kind of Healer I am...

I am known in the community as healer, conduit, reiki master, social worker, therapist, mother, sister, daughter and friend. I understand the commitment it takes to breaking down stigma, facing hard truths, acknowedging our devices and breaking generational curses. The road to radical self love and liberation is painful, but know that as you stand in the midst of it, I got you.
I believe my trauma has a purpose and my devotion is assisting others in finding what their pain came to teach. I want to build with my community, hold space with them, and I want to heal with them.
I have been doing social work and community healing for 12+ years. I have successfully facilitated restorative justice and healing circles for organizations, schools, and communities throughout the twin cities metro.
I am active in city and state wide conversations about Mental Health in the Black Community. I have also attended speaking engagements to discuss what healing looks like outside of westernized practices.
I lead workshops and Women Empowerment retreats around subjects including: healing heart wounds, childhood sexual trauma, self harming behavior, LGBTQIA + allyship for parents, family conflict, and Mommy Medicine.
In addition to Amani Healing Services,
I work as a licensed social worker for Hennepin County and am a part of the leadership team for the MN Healing Justice Network.
Amani Healing Services stands strongly in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+, Trans, Non-Binary and Two Spirit community.
